Tempe, AZ, October 1, 2018 – Dale W. Usner, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and Sr. Vice President, Strategic Scientific Consulting, will be visiting graduate students at various universities this Fall to discuss the clinical trials industry and careers available to rising statisticians.
“Clinical research is an exciting field where we are able to use our skills to help patients around the world,” said Dr. Usner. “I am excited to speak with these students and share my experiences as a clinical trial biostatistician over the past 20+ years and to detail the ways in which statisticians support the development of new therapies. Our industry is constantly on the cusp of therapeutic breakthrough, and I believe that the next generation of clinical trial statisticians will contribute to some of the greatest medical advancements the world has yet to see.”
Dr. Usner will address PhD, MPH, DrPH, and MS candidates at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA on October 2, 2018. He will speak with students at the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota on October 26, 2018.
